The cottages, set within a natural, wooded site adjacent to the hotel blend into their surroundings to create a fantastic ozark getaway. The cabins are often used to house to house wedding parties that have receptions at the Crescent Hotel, within walking distance.
David McKee, Architect was responsible for masterplanning for a complex site adjacent to Cresent hotel and spa. The site had a large valley running through it. The plan works with the existing contours to locate a series of rentable cottages within a park-like setting. The cottages would be accessed through series of elevated walkways and bridges to the roads and sidewalks. The grade was used to fit two units in each cottage. With one unit in each building being ADA accessible.
